So are you wondering what I might take for treats for Trevor's baseball team? Hmm....that wouldn't be a hard question now would it? Baseball sugar cookies!!! A breeze to make....although getting the flooding just right with no bubbles is most difficult when it's white.....I'm still a bit anxious when I do a white cookie - hoping, praying, they come out okay!

So when the team gathered around for their after game pep talk tonight....what do you think Trevor was more interested in? Yes, that's right, the cookies...he kept saying "I brought them". He was so proud and not listening to a word the coaches said. I might add that I also took little snack packages of cheez-its and told the kids they had to eat those first and only the cookie after they asked their parents!
How long do you think I was able to hold Trevor off from eating his baseball cookie?
Trevor was at bat 3 times tonight. He only got one hit, but he was swinging his hardest that is for sure. Really not too bad for only his second game. The whole "game" concept is still something he hasn't caught on to you. But it's fun to watch! Trevor's activities are taking more time now...so I can imagine I won't be baking as often as I have been. We have 3 games this week plus a practice - my oh my! That's keeping me quite busy.
