I love giving my cookies to friends and family. This year I decided to make mini cookies and bag them up to go inside a Christmas mug to give to some friends. Here are my mini cookie creations! Of course the designs have to be a bit simpler when you have a smaller cookie. But that doesn't mean it takes any less time!
Simple snowflake design inspired by Bowl of Oranges. I love this color for winter.

Hope you can tell this is a wreath. My wreath cutter was too big for my mugs so I just used a circle. I don't have a bow on it so not sure you would recognize it. But still red and green is pretty for Christmas!
I found this on Flickr from Cake&Cookies sight. Very clever I thought. I don't even know what you call this but I know it's Christmas. Is it a cake, a cookie? I'm sure you guys have all seen this before. I had a candle like it. If you know what it is, let me know!
Flickr is a good source for finding fun pictures of cookies for me. Cookie Jan had this idea for me.
My winter scene doesn't look exactly like Cookie Joes does on the Flickr website but I don't think it turned out too bad. He used a darker blue which probably would have been better.
Do you see Santa's belt here? A clever idea, but the white sprinkles didn't do any good for the design when I decided to add those. They are bigger sprinkles and "muddied" it up a bit. Oh well, live and learn, right? I have to thank SweetSugarbelle for this idea though.
I had to do some more circle Santas again for these gifts. Thanks to the idea from Cookie Crumbs!

You can't give Christmas cookies out without having a Christmas tree, can you?

I went back to look for the exact website for the cookies I found on Flickr and what I had saved was not enough to find it again. I'm new to all this with the crediting work and didn't copy enough to find it. Darn it! Well, at least I've told you they are my original ideas!!! I will work on that for next time.
