I have to ring in the New Year with some sugar cookies! These will be the final sugar cookies I make for 2011. This past year I made just a bit over 1800 sugar cookies!!!! I was busy, wasn't I? I like the designs I made, but not the colors. If you can believe it, I was going for copper and gold. This is what you get with the icing colors. I was really disappointed in these. It's on my list now to make these colors actually look like copper and gold! But for this year we will go with this! 
Nothing says New Year's like party hats and balloon....be sure to gather yours for the evening! 
As the clock nears midnight, don't forget to grab your loved one...or your cookie! 
I loved the building design idea I found on flickr from Lomfise. But since I used different colors than they did, I'm wondering if anyone will recognize it as a building with fireworks? What do you think?
