Here are some more Halloween and Fall things to share with you today!
I had lots of inspiration with what I created!
When I saw the 3-D Witch Hat Cookies that one of my favorite blogs did, The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle, I couldn't resist immediately trying there. She is so wonderful about thinking outside the box and using different cutters to come up with more ideas. And she really gives great tutorials on how website. These hats were made with 2 cookie cutters. First the top part was made with a candy corn cutter and I cut off the very bottom of it.....
For the bottom you have a circle cookie cutter. You put them together with a bit of icing and let them dry.
And check out what you get in the end? A very cool 3-D Hat. Very clever I thought. I wish I had the ideas that Sugarbelle's does. She puts something on her blog just about every week that I want to try!
I ordered some new Halloween cookie cutters this year. When they came in the mail a few of them were much bigger than I thought! Wow - a 6 inch bat cookie!
My gigantic black cat!
And a huge spider web!Big cookies are a good treat to give away!
I had some extra dough and had seen some more owls on Sugarbelle's website here. Some more thinking outside the box using heart and tulip cookie cutters to make these cute little creatures. There was a lot of detail and these were fun for me to make.
